Practice Patient Participation Group (PPPG)
The PPPG was formed in 2005 with the aim of developing a voluntary, self-managing assembly of patients which was non-party in politics and non-sectarian in religion.
The aims are to:
- Identify areas of general patient/service issues
- Improve communication between patients and staff
- Promote positive input from patients
- Support and organise health promotion events
- Assure the best service for the community
Involvement is actively sought from patients of all ages and members of associated local organisations and volunteer groups who are also patients of this Practice. This is an exciting opportunity to help to shape your local healthcare services.
Meetings are held every quarter in the Overton Surgery - see the Practice's Newsletter or posters for details. If you would like more information, please speak to a member of staff, or contact the Practice Manager in Overton Medical Practice on 01978 710666.
