Patients requests for appointments are through same day triage. We ask you give a brief explanation of your problem, and a contact number to the receptionist who will add your name to the Clinician Triage List. A clinician will then return your call.
We offer e-Consult and Video consultations.
Surgeries are by appointment with the doctor or nurse of your choice, if available and booked at a minimum of 10 minute intervals.
The practice employs locums to cover for clinical staff’s absence during holiday and study leave.
The Practice is committed to providing a safe, comfortable environment where patients and staff can be confident that best practice is being followed at all times and the safety of everyone is of paramount importance.
All patients are entitled to have a chaperone present for any consultation, examination or procedure where they feel one is required. This chaperone may be a family member or friend. On occasions you may prefer a formal chaperone to be present, i.e. a trained member of staff. Wherever possible we would ask you to make this request at the time of booking appointment so that arrangements can be made and your appointment is not delayed in any way. Where this is not possible we will endeavour to provide a chaperone at the time of request. However, occasionally it may be necessary to reschedule your appointment.
Your healthcare professional may also require a chaperone to be present for certain consultations in accordance with our chaperone policy. If you would like to see a copy of our Chaperone Policy or have any questions or comments regarding this please contact the Practice Manager.
Please let us know if you will be unable to attend any appointment. Either cancel it online, contact us by telephone (01978 710666/780804), Email email@example.com or respond to your text reminder. This will allow us to offer the appointment to another patient.

Mobile phone text reminders are now being sent to patients. If you booked your appointment up to 7 days in advance, you should start to see a reminder ONE day before your appointment. If you booked it more than 7 days in advance, the reminder should arrive on your mobile THREE days before. If you no longer require the appointment, please let us know and we will be able to use it for another patient. Please inform us of your mobile number. You can opt out of the service by contacting reception.
